The Galway Oyster Festival finds its natural home at the Radisson Blu Hotel & Spa Galway
Renowned worldwide for its gourmet seafood, live music and great craic, the 55th Annual Galway Oyster Festival finds its perfect festival home at the Radisson Blu Hotel & Spa this year. From Thursday 24th to Sunday 27th September, thousands of people from every corner of the world will flock to Galway to celebrate the oyster, a delicacy known for its delicious taste, nutritional value and mythical aphrodisiac properties.
The Radisson Blu Hotel & Spa will be the epicentre of festivities throughout the world-famous weekend and is proud to play host to the 55th Annual Galway Oyster Festival for 2009 and provide the setting for a number of high profile entertainment events throughout the festival.
The Radisson Blu Hotel & Spa will host oyster tasting, top class artists and cabaret acts, live jazz, the Guinness World Oyster Opening Championship, the Elegant Lady Competition, and the Farewell Party which takes place in the hotel on Sunday afternoon 27th September. The event will finish an action-packed weekend, and includes great live music to bid farewell to the 2009 Galway Oyster Festival.

The Radisson Blu Hotel & Spa Galway has fantastic value overnight rates including Super Buffet Breakfast over the four days of the 2009 Galway Oyster Festival, with rates from €70 per person sharing on Thursday 24th September, from €100 per person sharing on both Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th and from €70 per person sharing on Sunday 27th September.
